
Policy submissions & positions
As the peak body for specialist domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) services in SA, Embolden is in a unique position to advise and advocate to government on legislation, policy and service responses that are informed by people with lived and living experience of domestic, family and sexual violence, and by skilled specialist practitioners.
Our advocacy and policy positions focus on:
- developing a strong and sustainable specialist DFSV sector and workforce in SA
- supporting services & systems to respond to people experiencing violence, and those using violence, in appropriate, effective and culturally safe ways.
