Embolden is South Australia’s peak body for domestic, family and sexual violence services.
We welcome specialist women’s service providers and allied organisations who share Embolden’s vision and values to join our collective voice as we continue to call for an end to gendered violence across the state, the nation and around the world.
If your organisation or business are interested in supporting Embolden, we have two different membership offerings depending on your circumstances. These are:
Sector members
Community-based specialist women’s safety service providers.
Our Sector members are community-based specialist women’s safety service providers whose principal role is to directly respond to gender-based violence and who endorse Embolden’s objects, purpose and values.
Sector Members are eligible for office bearer positions on the Embolden Board and Action Parties, access to Board and General Meeting minutes, discounted training and event costs, invitations to special events, e-Newsletters and publications. Sector members may attend, speak at and vote at General Meetings.
Associate members
Public and community sector organisations that work in the women’s and social justice sector.
Associate Membership is available to public and community sector organisations that work in the women’s and social justice sector, and that endorse Embolden’s objects, purpose and values.
Associate Members are eligible for advisory positions on the Embolden Board, positions on Action Parties, access to General Meeting minutes, discounted training and event costs, invitations to special events, e-Newsletters and publications. Associate members may attend and speak at General Meetings, however do not have voting rights.
