GOGO Foundation joins Embolden as an Associate Member

The GOGO Foundation recently joined Embolden as an Associate Member having recently expanded their Inclusive Work Program with support from the Federal Government.

In late July Minister for Human Services, Amanda Rishworth announced $600,000 in new funding to the GOGO Foundation for their Inclusive Work Program (IWP). The IWP is the Foundation’s 9-week, trauma-informed program for women and non-binary Australians, to overcome barriers to employment. This open application program has now doubled in size and works to assist participants build their confidence and wellbeing and develop their skills to increase economic participation.
“The Inclusive Work Program is a carefully curated, person- centred wraparound program of support and safety. We don’t judge our participants, we see them for all their strengths, all their beauty and all that’s possible for them to live a thriving life,” says Chief executive of the GOGO Foundation Sarah Gun.
Within six months after completing the Inclusive Work Program, 60 per cent of graduates are either working in a job that they love or studying.
