Embolden is South Australia’s peak body for domestic, family and sexual violence services.  

We welcome specialist domestic, family and sexual violence service providers and allied organisations who share Embolden’s vision and values to join us as we continue to call for an end to gendered violence across South Australia and nationally.  

By joining Embolden, your organisation will benefit from enhanced connections and opportunities for collaboration, become part of a stronger collective voice for advocacy and change, and have access to information about training, events and research in the area of domestic, family and sexual violence.

Sector members

Community-based organisations that provide specialist domestic, family and sexual violence services, working directly with people experiencing or using violence.

All Sector Members share Embolden’s values of safety, freedom, equity and respect. 

The benefits of sector membership with Embolden include:

  • Stronger links to national contexts and developments, for example through Embolden’s membership of the National Alliance of DFV Specialist Services.
  • Joining a network of specialist DFSV service providers with regular sector member meetings.
  • Monthly sector member e-newsletters with information about sector-relevant training, events, research and opportunities.
  • Access to Embolden’s webinar series with sector-focused topics supporting good practice in service provision.
  • The opportunity to inform Embolden’s policy positions and advocacy, within SA and nationally.
  • Stronger links to national contexts and developments, for example through Embolden’s membership of the National Alliance of DFV Specialist Services.

Associate members

Public and community sector organisations, whose work is focused on community wellbeing and social justice.

All Associate Members share Embolden’s values of safety, freedom, equity and respect. 

The benefits of associate membership with Embolden include:

  • Enhanced connection to the specialist DFSV service sector and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Monthly associate member e-newsletters with information about sector-relevant training, events, research and opportunities.
  • Up-to date information about Embolden’s policy positions and advocacy at state and national levels.
  • Access to education webinars with cross-sector relevance.
  • Invitation to Embolden’s AGM and broader sector and community events.
