In the lead up to Economic Abuse Awareness Day, this online event will look at some of the more promising responses to domestic economic abuse in Australia.
The Centre for Women’s Economic Safety is facilitating two events in the lead up to Australia’s inaugural Economic Abuse Awareness Day, 26th November.
Like other forms of coercive control, economic abuse can look quite different from person to person as individual, social and cultural meanings change the context of money and relationships. Understanding these differences is key to designing flexible responses to economic abuse that can support the needs of diverse range of victim-survivors. This session will unpack some of these differences.
