Future Women in partnership with Commonwealth Bank
Future Women is launching a new podcast, There’s No Place Like Home, which puts the stories of victim-survivors at the centre of the story. On Thursday, February 24, they are hosting an intimate event marking its launch to be streamed virtually from 8am-9am AEDT.
Future Women consulted with nearly 60 experts from right across the sector, whose solutions are canvassed throughout the series. The panel for the launch event features Future Women’s Jamila Rizvi, anti-violence advocate and podcast host Tarang Chawla, family violence survivor and author Amani Haydar, and violence prevention specialist Moo Baulch and CommBank Next Chapter’s Sian Lewis.
Through ten captivating episodes, There’s No Place Like Home pulls back the curtain to reveal the nature and impact of domestic and family violence in Australia. Told in survivors’ own words, each episode tells the story of ten extraordinary people who generously share their most intimate thoughts, feelings, and experiences with you.
