The SA House of Assembly is about to consider the Termination of Pregnancy Bill, legislation that would finally remove abortion from the criminal law and regulate it like the health care it is. But this long overdue reform is under threat from wrecking amendments, many of which are being pushed by anti-abortion MPs.
The South Australian Abortion Action Coalition will be on the steps of Parliament House from 11am-1:30pm on 13 February. We’ll be spelling out our simple message to MPs – DECRIMINALISE. Join us for as long or short a time as you can and everyone, including kids, are welcome. Together we will raise awareness on what is happening in Parliament and stand up for access to safe, compassionate abortion care. 
Wear something orange if you can, bring a sign or hold one of ours, discuss the issues, take a selfie with one of our letters and share it on your socials, message your MP, and/or make a short video about why you support abortion rights. We’ll also have a musical performance at 11.30am.
Please bring face masks and hand sanitiser and stay home if you are feeling unwell.
