This years National Reconciliation Week theme “Be Brave. Make Change.” is a challenge to all Australians – individuals, families, communities, organisations and government – to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.
Reconciliation Australia have released an array of awareness raising resources for social media, featuring illustrations from contemporary Torres Strait Islander illustrator, Tori-Jay Mordey. The bold, brave characters show some of the different face of Australians working for a just an equal society, and are a visual reminder that reconciliation is everyone’s business.
We encourage our members and supporters to access these resources and participate in the social media campaign throughout National Reconciliation Week, and to let us know about any events or activities happening in your community.
